Poetry Friday: Caged Doves, Raindrops, 2016 Seasons

Caged Doves

The mournful coos of caged white doves
Pierce my heart with clammy shivers
Their wretched bodies maybe trapped
Their spirits still are free

Raindrops sit on heart-shaped leaves
Like glittering liquid jewels

Down they fall
On my bare neck
Refresh me with a chill

2016 Seasons

Seasons this year are completely wild
Yesterday was blazing, today it is mild
Spring and Summer clash in battle
On an unexpected April day

Whirlpool on the Stream

Drifting on a gentle creek
Puts my mind in carefree ease

As I ride on a flow of dreams
My mind is a wandering whirlpool
on the stream
